Designed and built for a professional couple from Melbourne, who purchased a small tree site adjacent to the beach to spend the weekends in a tranquil and relaxing beach side setting. The design brief stipulated a low maintenance holiday home that combined functional spaces within a small footprint and to be as sustainable as possible. Aesthetically the home needed to engage with the surrounding coastal landscape, utilising the mature natives already existing on the site.
